Saturday Concert - 8th October

Following very successful concerts over the last eight years, the Féile Frank Mc Gann experience continues on Saturday night 8th October at 8.30pm with an exciting array of traditional stars including Dave Sheridan (fiddle), Fiachna Ó Mongáin (Button Accordion), Séamus Ó Mongáin (Concertina), Mick O’Brien, Joe Skelton, Séamus O’Kane, Geraldine Cotter, Suzanne Leahy plus an exiting up and coming band of young musicians, Ríl Óg.

Ríl Óg came together just over two years ago and the band has gone from strength to strength since its inception. Comprising of six teenagers between the ages of 11 and 16 the band has achieved much success on the domestic music scene. Ríl Óg performed at one of the traditional musical highlights of the year - the All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil - which took place in Cavan earlier this year. Needless to say this young band set about capturing the hearts of its audience with upbeat and charming traditional style. The band was crowned All-Ireland Fleadh Busking Champions in 2010.

The Féile Frank McGann concert, a popular treat for local traditional music aficionados, kicks off at 8.30pm and, following the concert, usually continues on into the early hours in the form of various sessions in different parts of the hotel.
